CipherX’s data retention framework is designed to strike a precise balance between preserving user privacy and ensuring effective customer support.
Transaction Data
CipherX retains user transaction data for a standard duration of 72 hours. This retention window provides our support team with sufficient information to efficiently address user inquiries or resolve transactional issues.
If a customer support case extends beyond the 72-hour period, CipherX may retain the relevant transaction data until the matter is fully resolved. Once resolution is achieved, all retained data is securely deleted in accordance with our privacy and compliance standards.
Law Enforcement Cooperation
In cases where law enforcement authorities formally request information related to investigations of illicit activity, CipherX will cooperate only to the extent permitted by applicable law. This measured cooperation reflects our dual commitment to legal compliance and the prevention of unlawful behavior, while upholding our users’ rights to privacy and data protection.
