# Private Transactions

CipherX enables a new standard of privacy in blockchain transactions. In our private transaction mode, **only the sender knows their originating and destination wallet addresses**, while the transaction remains completely untraceable to the recipient or any external observer.

At the core of this system is CipherX’s **dual-exchange architecture** combined with a **randomly selected Layer 1 network** acting as a privacy tunnel. This randomized intermediary severs the on-chain link between sender and receiver, ensuring that neither exchange involved can identify the other. The result is a **fully anonymized transaction path**, preserving the confidentiality of both parties without compromising transactional integrity.
